Notes from Cliff Cummings, Member of SystemVerilog User Group (SVUG) Steering Committee and President of Sunburst Design.
The 3rd SVUG meeting was held at DATE on April 16th. While Nice is a beautiful place, it is not the best location to hold a conference. DATE attendance was way down this year and as a result we did not have as many people as we would have liked at this meeting. We are still trying to poll our members and find out if co-locating meetings is a good idea. So far the members are split 50-50 between co-locating with other conferences and keeping them separate. The people that attended really enjoyed the presentations and asked a lot of very good questions. Everyone enjoyed themselves and took away important information that they can apply to their jobs.
